Stoned on a sunny afternoon, and I decided to make a music blog. That caters to only me, and if you’re happening upon it and like the taste of what you hear - You :)
as I’m creating it, this delightful Mumford & sons track drifted into my periphery from my music library (don’t you wish there was such a thing as a music library realized in real form? I do. I would hug all the Radiohead songs from In Rainbows and hold hands with Gronladic Edit by Of Montreal).
without further adieu, my favorite piece from this particular ditty’s puzzle:
”Love that will not betray you, dismay or enslave you, It will set you free Be more like the man you were made to be. There is a design, An alignment to cry, At my heart you see, The beauty of love as it was made to be”
I think what I enjoy most about this song is the energetic cadence paired with some pretty powerful utmost truths. No matter their tone, or subject matter, M & S always seem to infuse it with the most incredible candor. Seeing them twice this year at sxsw was a much welcomed awakening to their particular prose and anthem
